Cooking Instructions –
From Ambient – For Pancakes:. Pancakes: 5-7, Mix: 1 cup, Water: 1 cup. Pancakes: 12-14, Mix: 2 cups, Water: 1 cups. Pancakes: 18-20, Mix: 3 cups, Water: 2 cups. For thicker pancakes use a little less water; for thinner pancakes use a little more water. Heat skillet over medium-low heat or electric griddle to 375F. Skillet is ready when drops of water sizzle then disappear almost immediately. Combine mix and water in a bowl. Stir with wire whisk until large lumps disappear. Over mixing may toughen pancakes. Pour slightly less than a cup batter for each pancake onto lightly greased skillet. Turn when pancakes bubble and bottoms are golden brown. For Waffles:. Heat waffle iron. Combine the following ingredients: 2 cups mix, 1 cups cold water, 1 cup oil. Stir until large lumps disappear; allow batter to rest 4-5 minutes before baking. Pour desired amount of batter into lightly greased waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops, about 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Makes four 7″ waffles.
